BCS Team Spotlight: Meet Paige

Paige is our Customer Research Strategist! She has spent the last five years implementing customer discovery research. She has participated three times in the National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps customer discovery program. She has conducted, recorded, and analyzed over 100 interviews understanding consumer behavior locally and nationally. Paige is a proud Milwaukean and loves her life in Bayview with her wife and pup, Jane.

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time? 
Follow #AcademicTwitter to read the stories of fellow grad students and academics, indulge in the solidarity-building memes, and learn how I can be an advocate for this community/industry that struggles with gender equality and mental health. Also, I knit baby hats!

What is your favorite cereal?
Honey oat granola and Captain Crunch

What’s the strangest talent you have?
Hm. I give really great hugs!

At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?
As a new homeowner, probably Home Depot.

Have you ever met anyone famous?
Kiley and I met Darren Criss during a friend's crawdad boil in NOLA once!

What are you reading right now?
I've been slowly working my way through The Alienist but just purchased Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America to start ASAP.

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant what would it be?
Plant identification! Or carpentry.

What’s your favorite place you’ve ever visited?
This one is a toughie, but I really loved Northern Ireland. My wife and I spent one night in Belfast after visiting Giant's Causeway and the short-but-sweet experience really stuck with us.
