2021 Stevie Awards: BCS Keeps the Winning Streak Alive

Hello friends, family, and industry pals, it’s that time again. It’s time for the Stevie Awards! If this is your first Stevie Awards rodeo, we’ll fill you in quick:  

The Stevie Awards are international business awards that recognize the contributions, achievements, and successes of organizations and working people across the globe. Sounds pretty great, huh? 

With over 1,500 entries in 100 categories throughout countries worldwide, the draw is substantial, and the competition fierce. The winners are more than just winners; they’re true leaders. With categories celebrating women in business, which is kind of our thing, you know we had to get a slice of that pie (key lime, but who’s counting?).

Our Stevie Awards story started in 2019 when Founder and CEO, Kiley Peters, heard about a fellow woman entrepreneur winning gold, and decided to apply. Dream big, right? We were shocked (and honored) to be finalists in all four categories we applied to: 

• Women-Led/Women-Owned Company of the Year
• Entrepreneur of the Year
• Business Services Company of the Year with 10 or Less Employees
• Achievement in Work/Life Balance

Kiley and Managing Director, Bonnie Atkinson, traveled in style out to New York for the awards ceremony, expecting to watch all the winners walk the runway to the podium and grab a slice of pizza or two. Kiley’s usually not speechless (seriously), but winning big in all four categories left her shook. 

In 2020, we embraced the can’t stop won’t stop way of life and added two more awards to our collection. 

And as of 2021, we’ve WON AGAIN, racking up a grand total of three awards—two golds and a silver—for Business Services Company of the Year with 10 or Less Employees. As a women-led and primarily women-operated small business, we love to see and be seen. 

So if you’re keeping a tally, from 2019 to today, we’ve won seven Stevie Awards, and it’s just the start for Brainchild Studios. 

The team here at BCS is honored to be recognized, three years and counting, and use these awards as an excuse to reflect on our worth and keep the successes coming in through our collaborative work culture and dedication to our why.

What’s next for Brainchild 

A big thank you to the Stevie Awards for showing us some love again this year, and a massive congratulations to the other winners. It’s been an honor, and we’re looking forward to the future. This year we celebrated our five-year anniversary and took the first steps to start a new phase for Brainchild Studios, and we can’t wait to share more information with you all as it unfolds.
