To build a website, you must have copy. Have you ever seen a website with no words on it? We didn’t think so. That being said, content (images and text) is the hardest thing when it comes to building a website.

It’s not an easy task to write for another brand, accurately reflect their brand voice and make sure to properly convey their business offerings and positioning. However, we have people who are actually pretty darn good at doing exactly that.

To get started writing copy, we’ll ask you to send over your brand style guidelines. If you don’t have those, no worries, we’ll create them for you. In order to do that, these things will happen:

  • We’ll lay out all the pages for your website and see what needs to be filled in.
  • We’ll go through a branding exercise with you and your team to make sure we understand how your brand should be communicated.
  • We’ll create Brand Voice & Tone Guidelines for you to use in future marketing materials. We’ll also use them as a reference when we write your copy.
  • We’ll draft up all the copy for your website and we’ll work together to make sure it’s exactly where you’d like it to be and then we’ll incorporate it into your website.

Think it over. Website copy is important to reflect your brand’s voice but it’s also important that it’s optimized so it’s easily found within search engines. Talk amongst yourselves and if you decide you’d like to talk through some literary masterpieces, just let us know!
