O-Cedar provides quality household cleaning products with a strong focus on innovation. O-Cedar prides themselves on the research and technology used to develop their cleaning products. While this century-old company has proven the test of time, they hadn’t made much of an investment in digital marketing just yet. We were tasked with launching a microsite dedicated to one of their featured products, the ProMist MAX microfiber spray mop in the Spring of 2018.

CHALLENGE: Optimize clicks to purchase.

STRATEGY: Create an informative microsite that answers any questions that could pose as a barrier to purchase to capture traffic and optimize clicks to purchase.

TACTICS:

  • Researched frequently asked questions and provided answers to them
  • Featured product video highlighting main competitive qualities
  • Delivered a complete product story
  • Established an optimized mobile experience
  • Included social proof with real testimonials
  • Used imagery that resonated with our target audience
  • Launched a Spotify cleaning playlist to encourage email sign-ups
  • Ensured purchase buttons were always easy to find

RESULTS:

  • Achieved a 49% conversion rate (click to purchase) within the first 30 days of launching ProMistMAX.com.

We are thrilled to see this level of success so quickly and are looking forward to seeing these numbers grow as additional efforts will continue to drive traffic to this microsite.
